If you need a light touch or have a chronic ache that nobody seems to be able to sort out, then Craniosacral Therapy and Somatoemotional Release may be your ticket! The body has enormous self-repair capabilities that your Wizard can create the space and intention for YOU to allow to happen.
Improvements can be as simple as a light feeling of peace, but can also result in deep emotional relief, elimination of lifelong held microtraumas and vast improvements to your attitude and world view.
Craniosacral Therapy
Craniosacral Therapy (CS) is basically stretching of the connective tissue around your nerves using your bones. Your spine and skull are the armor for your central nervous system (CNS) and while they are great at preventing major trauma, the soft tissue and fascial structures that connect it all together can still retain little twists, turns and kinks from trauma.
This is where CS comes in! Your therapist will very gently connect with these bones to stretch, loosen and, for lack of a better word, enable them to float unhindered again. The bones always reflect where the CNS is hindered. 🙂
What is it great for? If you experience headaches or migraines, anxiety, depression, unaccountable nervous or body pain, have trouble sleeping or eating and in general just need to chill out!
SomatoEmotional Release
SomatoEmotional Release (SER) is the natural next step from Craniosacral Therapy. A plethora of good self-therapy can occur with an SER intent, such as dialoging with dissatisfied body parts, accepting and releasing old physical traumas and finding a deeper inner peace.
SER empowers YOU to become your own therapist and work through whatever is plaguing your mind and/or body; you find a deeper understanding and awareness of how to make your life move with ease. All I do is facilitate!
What will SER accomplish for me? Depending upon your physical (Soma) and Emotional (…erh) makeup, you could delve deep into your own insecurities, see them for the important parts of you that they are and choose to understand whether it is time to hold them or not. You could also learn a great deal about chronically uncomfortable parts of your body and mind and how you can help them not just be accepted, but improved and even repaired!
